Eden Park ODI 2 sold out at standard tier within 96 hours; premium remaining. The Auckland ODI is the most-attended of the three. Eden Park T20I 2 has approximately 75% sold. The Auckland Indian diaspora has historically been the largest white-ball ticket-purchasing demographic for India tours.
Bay Oval T20I 1 and Hagley T20I 3 currently have approximately 65% and 60% sold respectively. McLean Park T20I 4 (series finale) has approximately 70% sold.
International fan tickets through NZC fan portal include an NZD 8 facilitation fee.
Venue tactical notes
McLean Park, Napier: small ground with short boundaries on the leg side. ODI scoring averages 270-310 in recent fixtures. Pacers favoured in the first 10 overs; spin from over 30 onward.
Eden Park, Auckland: smallest international ground in cricket (the 55-meter straight boundary). T20I scoring is typically 200+ in both innings. Massive sixes are inevitable; bowlers struggle with the dimensions.
Sky Stadium, Wellington: the largest of the five capacity-wise. ODI scoring is more typical of NZ averages (260-290). Wind plays significantly; the Cook Strait southerly affects swing.
Bay Oval, Tauranga: marine moisture aids early swing. T20I scoring 175-200 range. Spin-friendly in the back half of the innings.
Hagley Oval, Christchurch: pace-friendly throughout T20I. Boundary dimensions are full international standard. Scoring 180-210 range.
What it means
Seven white-ball matches across five venues over 17 days. The tour wraps India's 2026-27 international winter. Watch the Eden Park T20I for the small-boundary spectacle; the McLean Park finale for the series climax. Broadcast windows favour Australian and US viewers most. Indian viewers face early-morning ODIs. Plan accordingly. The cricket is the closing chapter of a long tour. The intensity at McLean Park on February 28 will be high. India's 2027 ODI World Cup buildup begins after this series.
