The senior-pro generation

The cycle covers the natural retirement window for at least three senior BD Test pros. The senior batting and bowling cohort will need to be refreshed across the cycle. The succession is partly underway. The 2027-29 cycle will require a new generation to deliver Test cricket against Tier-1 oppositions.

The next-generation pace cohort
